ULLATE 113 Author red wine 2005

Made with the best grape varieties of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Vidau. Coming from the oldest vines in our properties, making it an extremely small premium production. The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes of 44Lbs (20 kg). This wine has been fermented with indigenous yeasts. It is a co-vilification; manolactic fermentation in barrel, aged completely in new barrels of french oak from Alliers (225Liters).

It has been aged for14 months in barrica and 12 additional months inside their bottle.

  • Alcoholic fermentation and maceration: 31 days.
  • Manolactic fermentation: In new french oak barrel aging on its fine lees with
    Battonage for 5 months.
  • Alcohol content: 14 º
  • Total acidity (expressed in Tartaric ac.): 6 g / l.
  • pH: 3.65
  • Volatile acidity (expressed in Acetic ac.): 0.68 g / l.
  • Residual Sugar: Less than 2 g / l.
  • Bottle: Troncoconical of Bordeaux Author.
  • Plug: Natural cork.

It has red ruby clean color, which is bright and intense. It has an aromatic explosion, which is very complex; thin, elegant, original and surprising. Its taste is well structured with a steep smoothness; warm and very long, with a ripe and sweet tannins.

This wine has not suffered any physical or chemical treatment to achieve stabilization. This is done with purpose of preserving all its organoleptic characteristics. Through time, this may give a slight precipitate in the bottle in which case we recommend to carefully decant.

It is recommended to enjoy at a temperature of 64.4ºF (18º C).
